Doctree app privacy

Doctree is designed for local medical documentation. Health data, symptoms, medication data, documents, findings, questions and PDF preparation are processed locally on the device where technically intended by the app.

No diagnosis and no replacement for medical advice

Doctree does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment decisions or replace professional medical advice, examination or treatment.

Documents and OCR

Images and documents can be imported and included in PDF reports. OCR for JPG, JPEG and PNG runs locally using Google ML Kit Text Recognition. Other formats are read locally where possible; otherwise manual entry is available.

Local reminders and app lock

Symptom reminders stay local on the device. App lock can use passcode or biometrics where supported.

PDF export and languages

PDF reports can be exported in supported languages. Predefined questions are transferred into the selected PDF language; custom questions remain in the entered language.
